Parking, pets, cancellations, breakfast and the pool: the questions we hear most, answered plainly.
ArrivalWhat time are check-in and check-out?
Check-in is from 3 pm and check-out is by 11 am. If your room is ready earlier we will text you. Bags can stay with us before and after, and the pool is yours all day either way.
ArrivalIs there parking?
Yes. Valet parking is $38 a night with in-and-out privileges. Two of the spaces have Level 2 EV chargers; ask for one when you book.
ArrivalHow far is LAX?
About 45 minutes by car outside rush hour, longer between 3 and 7 pm. Burbank airport is 20 minutes away and often the easier choice.
RoomsIs breakfast included?
Yes, for every room booked directly with us. Breakfast is served in the Sunroom from 7 to 11 am, or brought to your room for a $5 tray charge.
RoomsDo you have rooms without stairs?
The Garden Studios and Courtyard rooms are on the ground floor and step-free. There is also a lift to every floor and the roof.
RoomsCan we bring our dog?
Dogs under 40 lb are welcome in the Garden Studios for $50 per stay. We supply a bed, bowls and a list of nearby trails.
RoomsIs there air conditioning?
Every room has quiet split air conditioning and ceiling fans. The windows open, too.
BookingWhat is your cancellation policy?
Cancel free of charge up to 72 hours before arrival. Inside 72 hours we charge the first night. Holiday weekends may have a longer window; we will tell you before you confirm.
BookingIs there a resort fee?
No. The rate you see is the room rate plus Los Angeles occupancy tax (about 15.7%). Wi-Fi, bikes, breakfast and the pool are included.
BookingHow does a booking request work?
Send the form with your dates. We reply within two hours between 8 am and 10 pm with the room, the total and a secure payment link. Nothing is charged until you confirm.
The houseCan non-guests use the pool or bar?
The pool is for hotel guests only. The pool bar and the Sunroom are open to everyone, though we hold the pool-side tables for guests.
The houseIs the hotel suitable for children?
Yes. The Sol Family Suite sleeps four, cribs are free, and children under 12 eat breakfast free. The pool has no lifeguard, so children need an adult with them.
